Quick Fuel Fleet Services, a division of Jacobus Energy, is know as an industry pioneer providing a rapidly expanding network of fully-automated fueling sites and mobile fueling services for commercial fleets and businesses throughout the Midwest and the South. We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic and motivated candidate for an excellent career opportunity with our Marketing Department.
This position will be responsible for formulating the product's long term strategy and developing and executing marketing plans by defining the brand's pricing, packaging, conducting market research, advertising and promotional strategies and allocate a budget accordingly.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Create and initiate new brand strategies to support existing brands and creating new products to optimize profit objectives and marketing opportunities.
- Obtain product market share by working with the Regional Sales Managers to determine customers' needs, pricing to develop product sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify targeted audiences and assess market competition by comparing company services to competitors' services.
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports, and analysis.
- Introduces new products to market by analyzing proposed product development programs, preparing return-on investment analysis, and establishing time schedules with sales and operations.
- Manages marketing budget and forecast spending for all brand lines.
- Creates promotional materials by designing and composing letters, brochures, and videos.
- Works with vendors to create promotional ideas that support the brand, delivers on customer objectives and sales growth.
- Maintain awareness of competitor's sales efforts and programs in sales territories.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: - Requires education generally equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field. It is desirable for the incumbent to have attained specialized training relating to sales and marketing.
- Requires 3 to 5 years of sales and marketing and general business management experience.
- Requires excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate the Quick Fuel marketing strategies to the sales and district manager staff.
- Requires strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals and related tasks. This includes abilities that correspond to leadership, developing and executing strategic business plans, and administering an operating budget.
- Requires a creative out-of-the box thinker with the ability to lead/manage, mentor, coach and develop others in the execution of new marketing strategies.
- Requires the ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, and to effectively communicate the related required actions to a broad audience.
- Requires the ability to present a professional image and to encourage sales professionals to do the same.
- Requires travel to various company locations, a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a motor vehicle in a safe manner while carefully observing all traffic regulations.
- Requires knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of standard office equipment such as a 10-key calculator, telephone, computer, and facsimile machine.
- Requires the ability to use variety of computer software such as Lotus Notes, and spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
